Types of Adapter Cards & Its Functions

→ FireWire Card : Connects to FireWire devices such as video camera.

→ Modem Card : Connects other computers other computers through telephone lines.

→ Network Card : Connects system unit to a cable that connect to other devices on network.

→ Sound Card : Connects speakers or a microphone.

→ USB Card : Connects to USB devices such as speaker & mouse.

→ Video Card : Connects a monitor.

→ MIDI Card : Connects musical instruments such as electronic keyboard.

→ PC-to-TV Converter Card : Connect and display computer output on TV screen.

→ TV Tuner Card : Allows viewing of television channel on the monitor.
